Phish Play Benefit Concert for Vermont Flood Recovery

Goddard College is immensely grateful and proud of our alumni Jon Fishman, Trey Anastasio, and Page McConnell, along with their bandmate Mike Gordon, for supporting flood victims in Vermont and upper New York. Phish will play two special benefit concerts on August 25 and 26, 2023 at the Broadview Stage at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) in Saratoga Springs, New York. The shows will raise money for communities impacted by historic flooding earlier this month.

Many towns across Vermont and upstate New York suffered tremendous damage when record rainfall led to catastrophic flooding. Homes and businesses were destroyed and lives upended. As a tight-knit community, it warms our hearts to see Phish band together to help their fellow Vermonters and New Yorkers recover and rebuild. We sincerely thank Jon, Trey, Page, and Mike for giving back to the region they call home. Their music brings joy to so many, and their generosity in times of crisis makes Goddard proud. We can’t wait to see their legendary live shows while supporting an important cause.
