Below are need and merit based scholarships that don’t require a secondary application.  You will be considered for these scholarships based on materials in your application.  Awards range from $1,000-$2,000 and are typically split between the first two semesters.

Engaged Artist Award 

The Engaged Artist Award is given to newly admitted Goddard students who will pursue a baccalaureate or graduate degree in the arts or whose program of study includes engagement with the arts, and who are already engaged in their communities or professions as activist artists.

Goddard World Voices

Goddard World Voices is a need based grant for newly admitted Goddard students pursuing either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and whose application and/or prior work demonstrates  an understanding of and integration into the global community, and who seek to participate in meaningful social change .  

Friend of Goddard Grant

The Friend of Goddard Grant invites members of the Goddard community to recommend friends or colleagues for admission to any of Goddard’s degree programs.  Applicants should include the “Friend of Goddard” among their recommenders.

The recommendation letter should include the following:

  • “Friend of Goddard” written at the top of the letter.
  • A description of the recommender’s relationship with the College (alumni, staff, faculty, etc.)
  • A description of why the writer believes the applicant would be a good fit for our community.

NOTE: This letter must be received before the application has been reviewed in order for the applicant to be considered for the Friend of Goddard Grant.

Partnership Grant

Partnership Grants are available to students who completed programs of study at a college or organization with which Goddard has a formal agreement or who are members of Goddard Community organizations.

Goddard College Scholarship

The Goddard College Scholarship Fund provides critical need-based support to prospective and current students who seek to complete their undergraduate degrees at Goddard College. This is a current use fund so every dollar received will support students in the next fiscal year. 

The Goddard College Scholarship is awarded by the Financial Aid Department and is based on availability of funds and the student’s financial need.
