Dr. Tracy O. Garrett holds a dual doctorate in Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Garrett is a licensed psychologist who has over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health and has worked in a variety of clinical, school, government and community settings. She has served the Goddard College Psychology and Counseling Program as a faculty member and, from January 2014 – September 2015, as Acting Chair.

I hold a dual doctorate in Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Currently, I consult at a human services firm, Progressive Life Center, headquartered in Washington, D.C., where I am responsible for managing the organization’s clinical and performance and quality improvement services. Progressive Life Center’s core services are in child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral healthcare and it operates in Maryland, Delaware, Philadelphia, and Ghana, West Africa. As a licensed psychologist, I have over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health. I have worked in a variety of clinical, school, government and community settings. I have also provided training in schools, government agencies, nonprofits, for profits, churches and professional organizations. My specialty is in the areas of community, team and organizational development.
I am a member of the Chesapeake Bay Organizational Development Network, Association of Black Psychologists, American Psychotherapy Association, Washington Evaluators, and Life Member of the Tuskegee Airman Incorporated. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing tennis, exercising, singing in church, and being with family and friends.
