Joseph Orange is a jazz musician having worked with The Newport Youth Band, Eddie Palmieri, Charley Palmieri, Lionel Hampton, Archie Shepp, Herbie Mann, Donald Byrd, Tito Puente, and many others. He is also a retired health insurance executive with senior management experience in Account Management, Staff Training, Marketing, Sales, and Organizational Development. He currently volunteers as a community advisor and fundraiser for the Bronx African-American History Project at Fordham University, and as a mentor for at-risk children in Columbia, Maryland. His awards and honors include the Outstanding Service Award, U.S. Office of Personnel Management; the ECHO Award from the Direct Marketing Association; and the Chairman’s Award from the Public Employees Roundtable; and Harlem YMCA Black Achiever Award.
