Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable human habitats. The Permaculture Design Course is an internationally recognized curriculum that covers the ethics, principles, strategies and techniques of permaculture design. Complete a Permaculture Institute of North America-recognized Permaculture Design Course and earn 2 transfer credits to be applied to your Bachelor’s degree program at Goddard College.

Goddard College will also award a $1,000 Partnership Grant to students who enroll in a Goddard undergraduate degree after completing a Permaculture Institute of North America recognized Permaculture Design Course.

Permaculture Institute of North America (PINA) is a professional service association which promotes and maintains standards of excellence in permaculture design, teaching, and practice. Membership is open to all graduates of the Permaculture Design Course throughout North America and Hawaii. As part of its commitment to professional development, PINA supports graduates to qualify for the Permaculture Diploma through mentored and self-directed programs administered by regional hubs and field advisors.
