Ordering a Transcript

All requests for transcripts must be mailed or faxed by the student to the Office of the Registrar.

Emailed requests cannot be processed. However, you may fill out the form and email it as a PDF attachment to records@goddard.edu.

Your written request should include all of the following information:

  • Your current name and, if different, the name you used when you attended Goddard.
  • The approximate dates that you attended Goddard.
  • The program(s) in which you were enrolled.
  • The complete address(es) of where you want the transcript(s) sent.
  • How many transcripts to send to each address.
  • Whether you want official or unofficial transcripts sent.
  • Your signature.
  • Your current address.
  • A telephone number or email address at which you can be reached if there are questions or problems regarding your request.

If this is your first transcript request, there is a one-time transcript compiling fee of $25 for which one student (unofficial) copy and one official copy is issued. All future copies of transcripts, student or official, are $10 each for the first five transcripts when ordering in bulk and $5 for each one after that.  For example seven transcripts would be $60.

Transcripts are processed in the order they are received; we cannot provide "Rush" or "Priority" services. Transcripts should be requested well in advance of any deadline. Allow 15 business days for processing from the date we receive your request.  

You can request and pay an additional fee for express delivery of your transcript. This service expedites mailing time, not processing time. The Office of the Registrar uses Federal Express for all express deliveries, which requires the street address and telephone number of the recipient for delivery. This service is available Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). The charge for express delivery service varies by destination.  The fee starts at $40.00 for transcripts mailed within the United States or Canada and at $50.00 for all other locations.  The appropriate fee will be applied to each requested address.  To place an express delivery request, please contact the Office of the Registrar with mailing information for a quote, and include a credit card authorization (card number, type, expiration date, name of cardholder) if submitting your request by fax or a check (made out to Goddard College) if submitting your request by mail. Please note that if the appropriate fee has not been provided your transcript will be sent via regular mail.

Your transcript cannot be released if you have outstanding financial obligations to the college, have incomplete academic paperwork or have provided incomplete delivery information. A staff member from the Office of the Registrar will make a reasonable attempt to contact you by telephone and/or email to inform you of the specific nature of the transcript hold. If, after three business days, you have not replied to the college, a letter will be mailed to you informing you of the hold and returning any form of payment submitted.
