Library and Information Technology ServicesGoddard’s Library and Information Technology Services are designed to provide information resources and technology support for students and the broader college community. Digital technology allows us to make a great portion of our library resources available online. Thus, the library has become a virtual destination as well as a physical place.
The Eliot D. Pratt Library houses print collections and provides space for teaching and learning. The Library and Information Technology Services organization provides access to quality information resources and services. We recognize that the use of technology is an integral part of library and information research. It is our collective mission to provide authoritative information resources, learner-centered services and instruction as well as reliable systems that support academic research and enhance intellectual activity.
Our information technology services support students, staff, and faculty both on campus and during the semester. We provide high-speed wired and wireless Internet access throughout campus, including the dorms. We also staff and support student and faculty use of our two computer labs. We support a virtual campus that allows students to continue the connections they build during the residencies via instant messaging, threaded discussions, and spaces to share files and collaborate.
