    B.F.A.  in Socially Engaged Art Degree Track

    FACULTY POSITION- Temporary Fall 2021  Semester

    General Qualifications: 

    The Undergraduate Studies Program (UGP) seeks qualified applicants for a one-semester Paid- By-Task position to work with undergraduate students in the Socially Engaged Art degree track. The faculty member will serve in the Fall 2021 Plainfield, VT residency and must attend residency-related events (in-person or virtually), August 25  through September 3, 2021.n.

    Required Qualifications: 

    MFA and/or Ph.D. Degrees with evidence of a strong understanding of the role of art in social change, social justice, and decolonization. The application process is open to internal candidates. Applicants should be grounded in aesthetic/artistic theories and traditions as well as the methods and materials in the visual arts, making, and/or material-based practice. 

    Compensation:

    The anticipated student load is six students (at $999 per student) based on the  Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
