Nicolette works with mission-driven clients at the intersection of business strategy, communications, and design. She is founder and principal of Do It Better Design, a Chicago-based branding and communications studio helping projects with a purpose share their story. Currently, she holds the role of Campaign Manager for the national integrated marketing campaign and USDA agricultural check-off Think Wood.
Nicolette’s professional experience is informed by a wide range of social impact projects, from food justice and carbon sequestration, to equity in education and the opioid epidemic. Her consulting and expertise span the fields of business development, strategic communications, and human-centered design. She thrives on implementing market-driven solutions to complex social challenges.
Nicolette has earned a BA from Goddard College, Independent Studies: Social Enterprise; MA from Goddard College, Social Innovation and Sustainability; and post-graduate certificates in Media Psychology, Public Interest Design, and Nonprofit Management.
