Deborah Bloom

Assistant Dean of Community Life, Title IX Coordinator

Deborah Bloom started at Goddard in 2015 in the Student Academic Support offices. As the Interim Assistant Dean of Community Life, she supervises the Writing Center, the Access and Disability Services Office, and Student Life. Deborah has served on the Goddard Board of Trustees as the Staff Constituent.

Prior to Goddard Deborah worked as an international events producer based out of New York City. A service in Peace Corp Bulgaria in 2010-2012 ultimately brought her back to her home community of Central Vermont. She started at Goddard shortly after receiving her Masters of Arts in Intercultural Relations at Lesley University. Deborah is most passionate about ensuring our students have a successful and supported tenure here at Goddard.

Deborah spends her spare time chasing a toddler around, building imaginary castles and painting on butcher paper with finger paints. She is expecting another child in March 2018 and looks forward to welcoming them into the Goddard community during their first year of life which will be spent accompanying her to work.
