Cameron Caley Michalak is a scenic designer and technical director for theatre; husband to Amber; and father to Ophelia Rose, an extraordinarily active 2 year old.
Regional Theater design credits include Cleveland Play House productions of These Mortal Hosts, Venus in Fur, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour and A Soldier’s Tale with Catch and Release. CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program’s design credits include She Stoops to Conquer, Philadelphia Story, The Three Sisters, The Misanthrope and The Winter’s Tale. Cameron also acts as Scenic Designer and TD for Cleveland Ballet at Playhouse Square. Selected local credits include Dance Nation, John, The Effect, Appropriate, Ten More Minutes from Cleveland and Becky Shaw at Dobama Theatre; Meteor Shower, Lady Day…, Really Really, Young Frankenstein and Seminar, Beck Center; Sunday in the Park, Of Mice and Men at True North Cultural Arts; and Sweeney Todd (among many others) for the Music, Arts and Drama (M.A.D.) Factory in Oberlin.
