    Clockhouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat

    Clockhouse Writers' Conference Building

For over twenty years, the Clockhouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat has supported MFA in Creative Writing alumni by offering writing time, thought-provoking workshops, a pre-publication reading of our national literary journal, and vibrant camaraderie within a welcoming community of writers.

Goddard MFA in Creative Writing alumni from Vermont and Port Townsend campuses are warmly invited to this annual conference and retreat each July and/or to its companion conference, the Lighthouse Writers’ Conference & Retreat, in Port Townsend each February. Registration opens October 15 for Lighthouse and February 15 for Clockhouse, and a nonrefundable $100 conference fee will hold your place. The conference fee also secures you a copy of CLOCKHOUSE, the national literary journal published in partnership with Goddard College. For more information, please see our web site, clockhousewriters.com, or contact Lucy Turner, Lead Steward of the Clockhouse Writers’ Conference, at lturner@clockhouse.net.
