Sarah Cannon was born in Seattle and raised in Seattle’s north-end neighborhoods. Her writing appears in the New York Times, Salon.com, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Brainline.org, and Bitch Magazine, among others. Sarah has been active as a community education writing instructor at places in the Seattle area like Verdant Health and Edmonds Community College.
