Goddard alumnus Mumia Abu-Jamal (IBA ’96) is in a Pennsylvania prison. His supporters say his life is in danger as he is being denied access to needed medical care. Noelle Hanrahan of PrisonRadio.org gives an update on his condition and what his supporters are doing in the legal system and the court of public opinion.
Goddard alumna Neely Cohen (BA HAS ’12) is an award-winning chocolatier. A year ago, she opened a small chocolate factory and cafe in her home town of Peterborough, New Hampshire. The company just celebrated its first anniversary. Her factory is special–it starts with the chocolate bean, rather than processed chocolate. She’ll tell us about the production process and what has changed in the first year of operations.
