Goddard College recently renovated a new space to house its Port Townsend library collection. The library is now located in the Schoolhouse building on the ground floor, Room C, at Fort Worden, 298 Battery Way.
According to Director of Information Access Clara Bruns: “The new room is beautiful, accommodates the collection much better than the former space, and accommodates all students, since we are now wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. The extra space and additional shelves also allows us to display the entire Port Townsend print collection, which were previously stored in boxes and not easily accessible for staff and students.”
Thanks to West Coast Operations Manager Joyce Gustafson who invested time and effort to make this happen.
The new Port Townsend library will be open for students during Goddard residencies.
