We are off and running with an amazing Fall Undergraduate residency (UGP2). Some photos from our first three days:
A gripping reading of Herukhuti’s new two act play, My Brother’s a Keeper:
Amazing graduating student presentations, including Nina Germain’s, “Flowering Root”:
A joint senior presentation, “True Stories: A Concert & Panel Discussion on Music, Narrative, Education, and Creative Practice” with graduating students Miles Gannett, James Gantt, and Emi Night. The Haybarn was packed, the performances amazing. Later we danced to Emi’s band, Strawberry Runners.
Jay Masika (IBA ’16) and Kristen Schwab (IBA ’16) facilitated Part 2 of “From Packets to Practice: An All Community Workshop Exploring the Intersections Between Identity, Oppression, and Transformational Change.”
And then, Leah Penniman, educator and farmer, rocked our world with her talk, “Towards a Just and Sustainable Food System: The Story of Soul Fire Farm.”
