Catharine Slusar (MFAIA ’15) has been hired as tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theater at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.
Richard Ambelang (MFAIA ’12) has a solo show of medium format transparency photos, Approaching Abstraction: From the Montpelier Boxcars I & II Series, at City Center, Montpelier, Vt., through January 30, 2015.
Wolf Luman (MFAIA ’16) was commissioned by Component Recordings to provide photographic images for two album covers, the Snow Beasts album “ice and shadow” and the debut album by Kestrol, titled “black gold”. His work also appears in the Kestrol music video for the track, Piper Alpha, below.
Photographs from Luman’s series, “this is a protest,” are on exhibition at gazehound studio, run by Goddard alumna Lori Murphy(MFAIA ’13) in the Zhou B Art Center in Chicago.
Neel Murgai (MFAIA ’10) and his musical group, The Neel Murgai Ensemble, played a concert on January 17, 2015, at the Haybarn Theatre at Goddard College.
Cynthia Brooke (MFAIA ’16) has three visual works in the Faculty and Staff Biennial Exhibition at Peninsula College, Port Angeles, Wash., through February 12, 2015.
