CLOCKHOUSE’s New Editorial Director

by Kathryn Cullen-DuPont
As those of you who are either on the staff of Clockhouse or were a participant in the 2015 Clockhouse Writer’s Conference & Retreat already know, Julie Parent–Editor of Clockhouse from its 2013 inaugural volume through the recent publication of Volume Three–has stepped down in order to spend more time on her own writing.  She leaves with the heartfelt gratitude of Goddard College, the MFAW program, the CWC alumni community, the staff of Clockhouse, and the contributors to each of the three volumes published while she was Editor.

Sarah Cedeño

Sarah Cedeño now assumes the position of Clockhouse’s Editorial Director.   She brings much to this position, including experience as Editor in Chief of The Pitkin Review, Fiction Editor at Animal:  A Beast of a Literary Magazine, and as an editorial staff member of Clockhouse itself.  Her own work has appeared in New World Writing, The Rumpus, Hippocampus Magazine, Bellevue Literary Review, Recactions, Literary Mama, and elsewhere.
Sarah lives in Brockport, New York, with her husband and two sons, where she teaches writing at The College of Brockport and serves as Village Historian.  (She confides that she spent the start of her summer reading romantic correspondence from the 1940s that left her heartbroken.)  She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, Plainfield Vermont, and she is currently at work on a collection of short fiction.
On behalf of all, a warm welcome to Clockhouse’s Editorial Director, Sarah Cedeño!
