Clockhouse is an eclectic conversation about the work-in-progress of life–a soul arousal, a testing ground, a new community, a call for change. Clockhouse seeks submissions in poetry, drama, fiction and nonfiction for its 2019 issue. We are interested in diverse voices and nontraditional narratives, and in writing that attempts to understand our place in the world and responsibility to each other. Past contributors include Cynthia Manick, Kazim Ali, Chad B. Anderson, Charlie Bondhus, Michael Carroll, Nikia Chaney, Juan Delgado, Marguerite Duras, Eunsong Angela Kim, T Clutch Fleishmann, Lucas de Lima, Samiya Bashir, Cristina Garcia, David Greenspan, Rinne Groff, Cara Hoffman, Robin Black, Jacinda Townsend, Amy King, Purvi Shah, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Susan Straight, among others. Featured interviews have included M.T. Anderson, Marie Howe, Dani Shapiro, and James Hannaham. Work published in Clockhouse has received Pushcart Prize special mention. Clockhouse is published in partnership with the MFAW program at Goddard College.
