Digital Media Coordinator

Goddard College seeks a skilled Digital Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team.  This position is responsible for digital channels and publications supporting enrollment and advancement activities of the College, and directly reports to the Interim Director of Marketing.

The Digital Media Coordinator will serve as the primary web content manager for the Goddard website and several sub-domains, gathering, writing, editing, optimizing, and publishing content through WordPress (or other CMS).  This position will propose and manage improvements to the website content, including A/B testing, SEO, and optimizing for inquiries, enrollment, and fundraising.  Duties include tracking Google Analytics and other metrics/insights; managing all social media channels; attending College events to take photos and videos or livestream; managing digital publications; managing the College online calendar; gathering and distributing College event materials; and supporting the Interim Director of Marketing and the Chief Advancement and Strategy Officer in marketing the College.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and three or more years of work experience in digital media; a proactive and collaborative approach to digital marketing; experience with WordPress or other content management systems; experience with social media, including brand management on multiples channels and analytics/insights; experience with Google Analytics and results-driven testing; experience with Constant Contact or other email systems; an ability to handle multiple deadline-drive, short- and long-term projects simultaneously; excellent writing skills; advanced interpersonal communications skills; skills to effectively produce visual, electronic, and written materials; and demonstrated sound judgment, reliability, creativity.  Ideal candidates will have experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop; experience with photography and videography, including editing; and experience in higher education recruitment or development, particularly in a progressive, liberal arts context.

Hourly Pay Rate:  $18.00 to $19.95, depending on experience. (This is a union position and subject to union dues.)
