In January 2011, Goddard College staff and students traveled to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah to support and attend Goddard faculty member Alrick Brown's feature film, "Kinyardwanda," inspired by Executive Director Ishmael Ntihabose's stories of survivors of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. They discussed Goddard's influence on their artistic practices and their lives with Kris Gruen, Executive Director of WGDR/WGDH, Goddard College community radio.
