Burlington International Airport (BTV) located in Burlington, Vermont is the airport of choice for traveling to Goddard. It is a 1-hour drive from the campus and is the closest full service commercial airport. It is served by a number of airlines including Jet Blue, US Airways, Delta, Continental, United and NWA. Taxi and limited bus service is available from the Burlington Airport (see Taxi Service and Arriving By Bus).
Manchester Airport (MHT) located in Manchester, New Hampshire is also used for travel to Vermont. It is about a 3 hour drive to Goddard (see Car Rentals).
Amtrak offers service between Washington, D.C., New York and St. Albans, Vermont with a stop in nearby Montpelier. Call 1-800-872-7245 for reservation and schedule information.
Vermont Transit offers service between Montpelier and Burlington, Boston, Manchester Airport, New York City, Montreal and intermediate points. Connections are available via Greyhound nationwide. Green Mountain Transit Agency operates bus service between the Burlington Airport and the Church Street Marketplace in downtown Burlington. They also have express bus service between downtown Burlington and Montpelier M-F during rush hour. Further information is available at 1-866-864-0211.
Taxi service is available from the Burlington Airport and from Montpelier to Goddard. It is important to make your arrangements in advance with any of these providers:
