Goddard College offers low residency MFA programs in
Creative Writing, and
Interdisciplinary Arts at its Port Townsend, Washington residency site. Students and faculty attend two eight-day
residencies a year on Goddard's Port Townsend Residency Site, located at the Fort Worden State Park Conference
Center, a national historic landmark located in the seaport
town of Port Townsend, WA.
The Port Townsend residency site includes the
following equipment for student use:
- PC’s running Windows XP with Office 2003 (including Word and
PowerPoint) and all the software necessary to connect to the various
College systems
- Internet access via T1 line
- Networked printer
- Wireless access
There is no Internet or email access in student housing on
campus. Since the number of computers is limited, students are encouraged to bring
their own laptop computer with them to the residency. Students with
WiFi-equipped laptops will be able to connect to the College’s T1 line.
