Plainfield, Vermont Campus Housing and Meals

Goddard College offers low residency BA, BFA, MA, and MFA programs in Individualized Studies, Education, Health Sciences, Psychology and Counseling, Sustainable Business, Creative Writing, and Interdisciplinary Arts. Students and faculty attend two eight-day residencies a year on Goddard's historic Plainfield, Vermont campus.

Campus housing on Goddard's Plainfield, Vermont campus is simple and basic, within easy walking distance of residency workshops and faculty and administrative offices.

Meals are provided in the Goddard cafeteria, located on the first floor of the Community Center on the Greatwood part of campus. The cafeteria serves vegetarian and vegan options at each meal, and can accommodate special dietary needs.

Goddard has 24-hour security personnel on campus during the residencies as well as 24-hour College crisis response staff. As a rural state, Vermont is generally known for its safety and low crime rate. Security personnel are available on request to escort students walking on campus at night.

For safety reasons and to protect the campus environment, the college community does not allow camping on the college grounds.
