Registrar and Records

The Office of the Registrar oversees student academic records.  For current students and their faculty advisors, academic records can be accessed electronically on our secure, password-protected Student Information System (SIS). The Office of the Registrar also sends out transcripts, certifies graduation and enrollment, issues diplomas, and tracks a wide variety of statistical information. If you are a student, graduate, or former student and need a transcript or a certification of graduation or enrollment, we are the folks to contact. If you are a recipient of Goddard transcripts or other information and have questions about what we do and how we do it, please feel free to give us a call.

Goddard College's academic records are as unique as its academic programs - and the students who come to school here. At most colleges and universities, academic records consist of lists of courses taken and grades received. At Goddard, each student has a file full of narrative evaluations documenting that student's learning and growth. These evaluations are written by advisors and the individual student. When a student requests a transcript, these records are compiled into a document that tells the reader far more than a list of courses and grades ever could. A Goddard transcript tells the reader something about who the student is as a learner and as a person, what the student's academic interests and passions are, what they learned, and even how they learn best.

"Replacing grades with evaluation by the student, teachers and his counselor, was to encourage study of a subject for its own merit." - Royce 'Tim' Pitkin (Former Goddard President)
