MA in Education and LicensurePartnership EducationThe low residency Masters in Education and Licensure Program offers a concentration in Partnership Education. Partnership Education aims to help students build a more just and sustainable society through an educational philosophy based on social justice, compassion, peace, multicultural understanding and ecological wisdom. Partnership education is a deliberate, coherent approach to cultivating the values of a partnership society in educational practice.
Students in the concentration gain familiarity with the diverse literature on educating for peace, caring, and social justice. Through studies in core curricular areas, students develop their own area of specialization and framework for social transformation through education and activism. |
