Senior Administrative Assistant

Goddard College seeks a Senior Administrative Assistant to perform administrative assistance to the Office of Academic Affairs, based on our Plainfield, Vermont campus.

This position reports to the Academic Affairs Administrative Manager and will have significant responsibilities in communications from the Academic Affairs Office, including updating and maintaining the Academic Affairs intranet site, publishing the Academic Affairs newsletter, and supporting communications with Academic Council. This position will support projects of the department and is responsible for maintaining the Academic Affairs mailbox and managing data and filing systems.

The Senior Administrative Assistant position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the nimble management of established and emergent (at times competing) priorities. We seek applicants with strong computer and internet skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office and Google applications, as well as the ability to learn new technology and software applications. The successful applicant will have exemplary interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with all levels of faculty, staff, students, and the greater community in a rapidly changing environment.

Job Requirements: 

Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus three to five years of relevant administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

This full-time position is based on the Goddard College Plainfield, VT campus and eligible for our generous benefits package.
