![]() ScholarshipsSpirit of Goddard ScholarshipsGoddard College remains committed to progressive education, education that transforms the individual and promotes a just and inclusive society. The power of this kind of emancipatory education relies on a foundation of academic excellence, diversity, and social justice.
Goddard's vision will be fully realized when the academic community includes individuals from the widest range of background, race and gender, and when the environment of the College community promotes equity, respect and recognition for all individuals. A sustainable scholarship program in which awards are based on this vision is one crucial tool for its accomplishment.
The Spirit of Goddard General Scholarship is a permanently endowed fund that provides annual scholarships to eligible students. Graduating students, friends, and families are invited to contribute to the Spirit of Goddard Scholarship. From time to time, the College will launch campaigns to grow the Spirit of Goddard endowed scholarship program.
There are several ways to contribute to the Spirit of Goddard Scholarship:
1) Founding Donors: Permanently named donors who give $10,000 or more.
2) Memorial Gifts: Given by one or many donors in memory of a specific person.
3) Individual gifts in any amount.
All donors are acknowledged for their gifts. Founding Donors and Memorial Gifts are acknowledged in Goddard publications.
Named ScholarshipsWith a gift of $100,000 or more, a donor can establish an endowed scholarship named for a specific person, entity or purpose, in consultation with the Advancement Office.
