The MFA in Creative Writing Vermont Program's fall residency takes place June 27th - July 4th in Plainfield, Vermont. The low residency Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program is a 48 credit, rigorous, student-centered program for writers who chose to live their lives and hone their writing skills at the same time.

The low residency Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program is a 48 credit, rigorous, student-centered program for writers who chose to live their lives and hone their writing skills at the same time.

 

Goddard College’s Education Program will hold its fourth annual July Institute for Progressive Educators July 18th - 22nd, 2008. Current matriculated students and educators seeking professional development opportunities attend the Institute.

 

The MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts Program's fall Vermont residency takes place July 25th - August 1st. The low residency MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts is a five semester, 60 credit terminal degree program designed to facilitate students in articulating an original vision, refining expressive and technical skills, and experimenting in new directions.

 

The MA in Individualized Studies Program's fall residency takes place August 8th - 15th in Plainfield, Vermont. The low residency MA in Individualized Studies is a 48 credit interdisciplinary liberal studies program integrating personal vision with radical thinking and engaged practice.

 

The MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts Program's fall Washington residency takes place August 15th - 23rd in Port Townsend, Washington. The BA in Individualized Studies Program's fall Residency Option 1 takes place August 22nd - 29th in Plainfield, Vermont. Students in the low residency BA in Individualized Studies Program design individualized course of study and accomplish the work of the semester in their home communities while attending two eight-day intensive residencies a year.

 

September 12th - 15th, 2008, the Power of Words Conference features workshops, talking circles, performances, open readings, and celebrations. Come explore how we can use our words – written, spoken or sung – to make community, wake ourselves up, and foster empowerment, healing and transformation.

The MA in Socially Responsible Business and Sustainable Communities Program's fall residency takes place October 13th - 20th in Plainfield, Vermont. Studies within the program support students in their aspiration to be effective agents of positive social change as entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, leaders, managers, community organizers, environmental stewards, and social justice advocates.
