BA in Health Arts and Sciences

Health Arts and Sciences

Goddard StudentsStudies within the low residency BA in Health Arts and Sciences Program: Bridging Nature, Culture, and Healing  are student-inspired and designed. Students study within an interdisciplinary and holistic framework designed to blur conceptual boundaries and reveal underlying connections leading to a sophisticated and multi-dimensional perspective and practices.

Students in the low residency BA in Health Arts and Sciences Program incorporate degree guidelines into their studies that include articulating their own health philosophy, applying selected health practices and modalities, understanding of the broader social, ecological, and scientific context, and self-healing practices. Throughout the process students are encouraged to bring their own rich experiences, skills, and knowledge to their studies, and to draw on multiple dimensions for learning - from intuition to the sciences, from reflective solitude to dynamic community service projects, and from reading to direct experience.  Students can also integrate specialized professional health training into their plan of study directed towards attainment of health certificates, licensure or registration.
