The Health Arts and Sciences Program offers a special learning partnership for nurses who wish to attain a bachelor or master of arts degree. Goddard offers students who successfully complete the Integrative Healing Arts Program (IHAP) at the BirchTree Center for Healthcare Transformation in Florence, Massachusetts, eligibility to earn their bachelor or master of arts degree through the low-residency Health Arts and Sciences Program in a reduced period of study.

After successful completion of the IHAP program at BirchTree Center, students receive a certificate in holistic nursing. At the undergraduate level, applicants to Goddard's low-residency BA in Health Arts and Sciences Program can submit their BirchTree Center transcript to Goddard College, which can allow them credit for up to 15 undergraduate transfer credits, the equivalent of one academic semester. Taken in combination with credits gained from earning an associates degree in nursing, graduates of BirchTree’s IHAP program will usually need three more semesters (45 credits) to complete their 120-credit bachelor’s degree. For more information, contact the Goddard College Office of Admissions.
