The Academic & Disabilities Support Office (ADS) is committed to an integrated, individualized approach to learning support. The goal of ADS is to foster academic growth, taking into account each student’s unique learning style, and to ensure equal access to higher education for students with disabilities.
Disability Support
- ADS establishes reasonable accommodations and coordinates services for students diagnosed with physical, psychological, or cognitively-based learning disabilities, as well as attention issues.
- ADS provides academic coaching for students with disabilities during residencies and during the semester.
Academic Support
- ADS provides effective strategies for students needing skill development in the areas of reading, note taking, writing, critical thinking, time management and more.
- ADS provides face to face academic coaching for all students during residencies and offers residency workshops on academic skills and learning style metacognition.
- ADS coordinates an online discussion group on academic skills and disabilities issues for all enrolled students.
